first off let me say we love our new RV and the experience we had with McKee RV! From the very beginning stages of the buying process all the way through until the very day we took our new RV home has been nothing short of a absolute pleasure to deal with. Charlie help us along with every step of the way and was very patient and understanding of what we were looking for in our new coach. Hew also listened very well and never put any pressure on us which we very much appreciated. He was also very knowledgeable on the different products they offer at McKee RV which was also very helpful in picking out our new RV.
They may be proud of their cars and RVs, but they are not dedicated to the needs of their customers. Also, they will not respond to any questions or requests. Lastly, they don't know what the definition is of "superior service".

The Sales Rep (Jim Anderson) was on top of the transaction and even came in on his day off to meet me and make sure everything went smoothly.
Overall I would definitely recommend McKee RV to anyone and everyone, The entire staff was a pleasure to work with and the service department was very friendly and thorough with with our walk through and any questions we had they were happy to answer.

We stopped by in the pouring rain and the staff was more than happy to show us around and educate us on what we need to know about buying a motor home. We informed them that we are just starting our search and know nothing abut RV's other than trailers or fifth wheels. The staff was THE BEST in patience, understanding and helpfulness. We never felt discouraged for one second. Our research in what we want has just begun, but I have a great feeling that we will be spending our time and money with Mckee Auto and RV, because finding service like this is very rare these days. McKee RV was very responsive to my internet request and called me with the answers to my questions. This was a very simple internet transaction and went off without a hitch.
Now lets fast forward a couple years. I just received a recall notice from Kidde Fire Extinguisher's on the fire extinguisher that was installed in our motorhome. The recall notice said that Thor was working with their dealers to correct the problem. So I called McKee RV and left a voice mail message with their warranty manager to see how we were to handle this recall. It has been four days and they have not responded to my phone call. Once again, if they don't respond to a customer, the problem will go away.
I would not purchase any kind of vehicle from Mckee. We purchased a never before titled, 2014 Thor Tuscany 44MT, Motorhome from them. They are a typical dealership, in that they are all nice with hugs and kisses until you purchase and drive off the lot.

We live some 1100 miles from Perry, IA so it is difficult, if not impossible, for us to take our motorhome to McKee for repairs. While still under warranty, we did drive back and took the motorhome in for repairs. There were 12 items on the list and they completed repairs on 3 items. During those repairs, they had to pull the left rear tail light. They striped one of the bolts, so they installed an oversize galvanized bolt in its place. While doing this they chipped to paint around the light and cracked the light cover. I pointed this out to them before I left the dealership and the Service Manager said they were responsible and would take care of fixing this. After returning home, I emailed them about the repairs and asked if they would work with a local dealer where we live to pay for the repairs. I sent them a copy of the repair work order from the Thor Dealership here. They did not and would not respond to my request. I then had my attorney send a certified letter asking for them to resolve this issue with our local Thor Dealer. Once again, they did not respond to this request. I believe that because we live so far away, they feel that if they don't respond, we will just go away. (Which because of the distance and cost for us to go back to Perry, IA, we didn't have much of a choice to caulk it up to a bad experience.)

We purchased a new Miramar coach from McKee in Aug 2017. After finding several minor issues that needed attention, the service people were prompt and thorough in getting these resolved so we could be on our way.
